Project Engineer - Mechanical/Design/Project 60-70 K/yr
Excellent opportunity for a MECHANICAL DESIGN PROJECT ENGINEER for a highly regarded firm in northeastern Ohio. Requires BS Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 3 to 5 years relevant experience. Must be familiar with statics, mechanics, vibration, fluids, and metallurgy and standards such as ASTM, AISI, and AWS. Utility power generation or heavy industrial industries experience a strong plus. Requires proficiency with standard office software (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD.
Position will have responsibility for project execution in engineering and involves analysis and design to determine the mechanical and dynamic
characteristics fan systems. Work involves the oversight of drawing creation, oversight of schedules and budgets, generation of procedures,
instructions and reports, involvement in test activities, and technical communication with vendors and customers. Requires strong oral and
written communication skills.
