Project Manager - Safety/PLC / DCS/Six Sigma 70-80 K/yr

A global company has an immediate need for a Project Management Engineer for its North Carolina location. The Project Management Engineer will have design duties and installation for capital projects. All candidates applying for this position will define and develop projects, be responsible for quoting, purchasing and maintaining budgets, schedule and tracking work orders for projects. In addition, the Project Management Engineer will manage and execute all facets of the projects, arrange for resources, and employee optimization techniques. The Project Management Engineer will have the responsibilities of maintaining all health, environmental, and safety standards, and will be liaison with plant management, operations, craft personnel, contractors and vendors.
All candidates must have an engineering degree with five plus years of chemical processing experience including PLC / DCS systems (Delta V / GE Series 6 / 9030 PLC / Simplicity). Six Sigma background / certification highly preferred. Candidates having an additional two years of capital project management or process engineering will have an advantage.
