Purchasing Agent/Production Control

Title: Purchasing Agent/Production Control
Duties/Responsibilities:
Implement procedures that ensure that purchased products conform to specified requirements. Maintain a supplier base that supports quality products or services, on-time, at competitive prices. Assist Quality in maintaining the Approved Supplier List, PS068.
Identify requirements and coordinate necessary planning and purchasing activities to meet scheduled deliveries. Release production orders to manufacturing and accumulate cost against orders. Monitor progress of work flow and aggressively remove obstacles in meeting on-time deliveries. Support Customer Service with delivery promises, order status, and estimated costs for cost based pricing.
The Production Controller for a product will also participate in the Material Review Board(MRB) for that product.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college plus three years in manufacturing planning, procurement or production control. -or- Five years in manufacturing planning, procurement or production control.
Salary:
$55,000 to $75,000 based on experience.
