QC Inspection- Embroidery

Custom Embroidery Quality Control Inspector located in Lexington, NC


Position Summary:
The Custom Embroidery Quality Control Inspector is responsible for enforcing established quality standards through inspection of all embroidered apparel prior to shipping from assigned vendor location.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
1. By following established Company guidelines, maintain 100% accuracy in ensuring embroidery quality, consistency, and correct destination.
2. Works closely with Service Coordinator to meet all necessary order requirements
3. Responsible for maintaining detailed reporting and information tools.
4. Researches possible errors in established quality standards and reconciles as needed.
5. Organizes hardcopy/softcopy files of form and reports for records storage.
6. Assist with miscellaneous duties as job requires or as instructed by management.

Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience:
High School diploma or GED required
Two years minimum related experience working in a custom embroidery or apparel environment preferred.
OR
Any combination of Education, experience and training which would provide the level of skills, knowledge and abilities required.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail required.
Requires continuous close visual and mental attention for prolonged work hours.
Ability to avoid and detect errors.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and employees in other departments and at vendor locations.
Ability to maintain established records and files.
Familiarity with computers and basic data entry skills.
