QC Tech - Tampa FL LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

Immediate opening for an experienced, highly motivated quality control technician. The candidate who fills this position will be responsible for monitoring the manufacturing process, inspection and quality control of material, and, calibration of test equipment following established procedures and methods. Good computer skills are required to compile and input data, summarize analysis, and forward reports. The candidate must be a team player, have initiative and require very little supervision. 

 

Additionally the ideal candidate will have:

? Experience in quality control including SPC.  Experience with Six Sigma is a plus

? Capable of performing basic production lab tests on products

? Experience in the building products industry or related areas

? Excellent communications skills, being able to work with customers, suppliers, production workers, maintenance personnel, plant management, and corporate personnel

? Good writing skills and experience with MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel

 

 

This is a full time position with excellent company benefits and vacation. The individual must be able to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and be capable of lifting and handling a 30 lb bag of material. Some noise and dust is associated with the manufacturing process. The hours are 4 p.m - 12:30 a.m. (second shift). Overtime  will be required to support production schedules.
