QC Technician $14-16/hr

Kelly Scientific Resources currently has an excellent opportunity for a QC Technician needed for our client located in La Verne, Ca.

This company is the largest manufacturer in North America dedicated solely to the manufacturing of absorbent mediums for the food packaging industry.

Duties:

Test, inspect, record and analyze quality data collected during shift operations.
Design, set up and conduct experiments and testing of new products and trials, compile date and provide statistical analysis of findings. Support Sales with complaints and product development. The Quality Laboratory Technician may be required to travel to customer locations to conduct quality evaluations and testing to support sales.

This position requires a through understanding of our quality testing procedures. Strong record keeping skills are required. Strong Communication skills, both written and oral are required. Strong PC skills in MS Work, Excel and the HFA system are a must. A bachelors degree in a related field is desired or A.S. degree with 3 to 5 years in a quality laboratory environment. A through understanding of Statistical Process Control is a plus.
