Job Summary:

 

Eastman Kodak Health Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager with a strong passion for continuous quality improvement who:

 
Will actively lead project planning with respect to quality. Establish project quality objectives and priorities. Focus will be in supporting the scale-up of new products along with driving improvements in the quality/manufacturability of existing products.
Will establish and maintain customer-focused metrics. Analyze quality data & defect analysis to determine appropriate corrective action plans and to insure data integrity.
Will establish and cultivate a network of resources (laboratory, manufacturing, engineering, sales and marketing) to facilitate completion of assignments.
Will work closely with development to translate measurable product specifications into test methods for product development and manufacturing. This individual will lead the effort to develop and document test plans and test procedures to meet customer and FDA requirements. Responsibility also includes coordinating the test effort (including functional and reliability testing) with a group of test engineers, providing status on the completion of tests, and documenting the overall test results.
Will provide leadership in guiding our business success through developing & optimizing effective quality & inspection systems along with control plans. This will be accomplished by utilizing six sigma methodology, actively participating in cross-functional / divisional / cultural teams and assisting in troubleshooting production and quality system maintenance issues, when needed.
Will participate in design reviews and code reviews.
Will set goals for the group and be responsible for performance reviews for individual Q.A. engineers.

 

Skills/Qualifications:Personal Skills:

Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills to manage different priorities.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels.

 

Technical Skills:

 
BS/MS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, BS/MS Physics, BS/MS Mathematics, or BS/MS Chemistry from an accredited university or a technical degree with process or quality engineering experience will be considered.
A minimum of two years experience managing a quality group.
Must have experience utilizing statistical tools in problem solving and utilizing Six Sigma methodology. Statistics, SPC, DOE, MSE, Green Belt or Black Belt training is beneficial. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools in problem solving, using a systematic methodology such as Six Sigma.
Experience in developing and maintaining controlled documents. Excellent writing skills. Demonstrated ability to lead projects to successful, on-time completion in a safe manner.
