FOOD PROCESSING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Our client is a well established food processing organization.? They have an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Manager.? Candidates must have experience in Food Processing.? Current QA manager promoted.? Client offers excellent compensation, benefits and relo.

REQUIREMENTS:
BS Degree in technical field (food science, microbiology, etc) REQUIRED.
5-10 years experience in a Quality Assurance role with some R&D experience
MUST have experience in in operations, technology and engineering in an USDA environment
Experience?managing a Quality Assurance department (analytical lab, micro lab)
Experience developing and maintaining Quality system programs, HACCP programs
Experience training and facilitating GMPs, Sanitation, Process Controls and Plant Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the Quality Assurance department (micro biologist, technicians and sanitation)
Outside 3rd party audits
Ensure compliance to all government and corporate requirements
Support company R&D team to deliver new products
Support quality improvements, cost reductions
Manage sanitation operations personnel and programs
