Quality Assurance Manager (from a food or beverage manufacturing plant)
Our client, a leader in the food and beverage industry, is searching for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. This person will supervise a team of 9 in the QA department, and will report to the Plant Manager.
The qualified individual will have:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biological sciences; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of successful experience managing (supervising QA supervisors and lab technicians) a Quality Assurance department in a 150+ person food or beverage plant (only).
- Key skills: Need solid, current working knowledge of microbiology, SPC and HAACP. Auditing, sensory, root cause analysis, KPI, sanitation, product and equipment safety, management, leadership/team oriented, customer service, FDA, GMPs
- Successful experience in an extremely process oriented environment.
- Excellent follow-through.
- Analytical skills.
- Computer savvy.
- Effective leadership and development of individuals contributing to team efforts.
This is a salary plus bonus and benefits position.
