Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager
AGSE is a world leading aviation ground support equipment manufacturer seeking an experienced QA Manager/Management Representative. An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years previous QA management experience with an ISO9001:2000 registered manufacturer of metal (steel & aluminum) products. A background with aerospace or aviation defense is a strong plus.
Job duties and responsibilities include:Provide leadership, management and scheduling for a 4 person Quality department staff to complete all product/material inspections, nonconformity resolution, testing, documentation, record keeping and implementation of customer driven quality requirements.Develop, implement and maintain the quality system to ISO standards seeking continuous improvement. Oversee internal and external audits. Spearhead corrective actions.Report to General Manger, conduct management review meetings and perform all Management Representative functions.
A qualified candidate will be organized, energetic, cooperative, will work well with employees/customers/vendors and possess good communication and computer skills. A college degree and/or specific quality education/certification is desired.
