Quality Assurance Technician
2nd Shift Quality Assurance Technician
Quik-to-Fix Foods, a wholly owned subsidiary of Smithfield Foods, is a leading producer, marketer and distributor of value-added beef, pork and poultry products for the retail and foodservice industry. The company's products are marketed primarily under the Quik-to-Fix and Gorges brands. Customers include major retail grocery chains, as well as numerous foodservice distributors.
Individual will be responsible for verifying compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices, product compliance to specification, sanitation schedule, HACCP and maintaining quality documentation neatly and accurately.
Successful candidate will have 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality department and an Associates Degree. Bilingual English/Spanish and prior experience with SAP or similar software strongly preferred.
