Position: Quality Control Engineer/Technician
Job Description:
Employment Plus- Pro-Tech Division and one of our top clients, an international leader in the automotive industry, located in the Columbus/Seymour, IN market, is in need of Quality Control Engineer/Technician to join their fast paced, ever-expanding team.
Ideally, we are looking for someone hands-on who would be responsible for assuring quality in all phases of the manufacturing process from suppliers to customers and for preventing defects through problem recognition. Other duties include but are not limited to: preventing defects through potential problem analysis such as PFMEA or DRBFM, GD&T, APQP, Program Management, PPAP, ISO 9000, TS 16949, and tooling such as micrometers, calipers, and height gage.
Candidates must have good communication, public speaking, and problem solving skills. The ability to read blue prints, perform statistical analysis, and use inspection tools also necessary. B.S. degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology IS A MUST- 2 yrs + experience in automotive quality engineering preferred- experience in a Japanese Automotive environment is a plus.
