Quality Control Supevisor

Privately held multi-million dollar food processor in San Bernardino is looking for an experienced Quality Control Supervisor?SUMMARY

Supervises and coordinates activities of production workers by performing the following duties:

Supervise all aspects of QA activity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Document control and trace abilityCreate and initiate product specificationsAnalyze quality, food safety, and consumer complaintsCommunicate compliance level to the plantDevelop and implement quality improvement program??

QUALIFICATIONS.Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong leadership skillsPossess analytical and problem solving skills Team oriented / team builderHands-on supervisory styleAbility to organize and prioritize tasks and processes

?EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE BA/ BS in related field requiredMinimum three years as a biologist, preferably in food processing.

Note: Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.

?LANGUAGE SKILLS Read, write, and speak English, fluently

?MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Mathematics associated with laboratory processes

?COMPUTER SKILLS Strong knowledge in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other computer systems

?REASONING ABILITY Ability to trace problems to root causeAbility to communicate with persons at all levels Efficiency and continuous improvement methods

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Laboratory setting; infrequently in cold/wet environment.
