Quality Coordinator/Manager

The Duncan Group is a metal coating company offering services such as Hot Dip Galvanizing, Hot Tin Dip, and a vast array of electo-plating finishes.  We are in search of reliable individual to re-establish and maintain our quality systems.

 

This individual would be:

- Experienced with ISO9001:2000 implementation, auditing, and upkeep.  Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP Standards a plus.

- Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the activities to achieve and maintain ISO9001:2000 Certification.

- Thorough knowledge of auditor practices and the ISO Standards and how to apply the proper interpretation of the Standards in actual internal audit situations.

- Conduct and lead internal ISO process audits.

- Maintain and develop the customer corrective actions, internal corrective actions, and internal non-conformances.

- Develop methods and procedures to improve and maintain quality.

- Ensure all administrative aspects of quality audit activities are complied with, implemented, and have closure.

- Other responsibilities include documentation review, perform preliminary review of non-conformances and supplier ratings, select and utilize audit checklists, supplier/internal quality system audits, survey evaluations, generate reports (i.e. audit, survey, findings and corrective actions).

- Analyze internal and external quality data including manufacturing yields, supplier performance, etc. to help identify and drive corrective and preventive actions required to improve product and process quality.

- Effectively resolve complaints from quality problems.
