Quality Engineer - Aerospace

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for customer quality issues in Kavlico's Aerospace Products Division including Failure Analysis and RCCA. Primary functions will be to correspond with a set of assigned customers with regards to open quality issues, along with hosting customer visits and/or audits. Internal production support on quality issues and problem solving will also be required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Customer Failure Analysis including correspondence and follow-up.
2) RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) both internally and externally
3) Quality support to the Customer Returns Department, including tracking returns data and preparing reports on findings to the Quality Manager.


Qualifications:

1) Minimum of 3 years work experience in an Aerospace/aviation product Quality/Manufacturing Environment
2) Bachelors Degree in Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
3) Previous Experience with ISO9000/AS9100 implementation and procedures
4) Previous experience with problem solving techniques.
5) Previous experience with Root Cause and Corrective Actions
