Quality Manager (DWP06080)

Founded in 1922, our client is a 150 employee metal fabricator headquartered in Northern Indiana and focused on state-of-the-art technology.  Lasers, robotic welders, and precision press brakes complement a stamping department.  Current projects include certification to ISO 9000 and development of a leading-edge performance management system.  The organization is team oriented, non-union, and committed to world-class performance.

 

The Quality Manager will coordinate the efforts of Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to achieve quality goals.  Will lead the company to ISO registration and continue as Chief ISO officer following certification.  Facilitate company-wide continuous improvement activities and assure implementation of corrective actions.  Interact with customer personnel, support shop activities, manage quality documentation, and enable effective use of quality control hardware and software.

 

Qualified candidates must be familiar with quality control techniques such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Six Sigma practices and possess a general knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
