We currently have 3 excellent Senior Management openings. These are Quality Control Manager openings with Fortune 100 Foods manufacturing companies. They are immediate needs and we maintain strong relationships with these clients.
Position # 1 Quality Manager (Positions in Dayton, Sidney and Canton Ohio)
80-90K
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees quality control function including staffing, annual budgets, and training, to ensure consistent and accurate quality testing is completed
Ensures compliance with all facility policies and procedures as related to safety, food safety and quality control/quality assurance
Demonstrates visible leadership in BU initiatives such as BSC, SQI, and engagement
Articulates business strategy and develops quality control staff through Performance Management and Talent Development Processes
Works with Quality Assurance to develop, maintain and improve quality and food safety procedures and programs
Reviews raw materials and ingredients for compliance to specifications
Works with customers as needed by business in coordination with sales, technical service, product development and culinary teams
Submits appropriate quality and food safety reports to facility and BU personnel and customers
Reviews test performance, pre-control, exception alerts, and product quality, and proactively communicates with BU Quality Assurance department and facility operations management
Initiates, investigates, and documents variances as needed
Coordinates and maintain records, policies, and programs for food safety and quality audits
Key Customers
Direct external customers include:
Foodservice Customers (foodservice distributors, restaurants, and club stores)
Industrial Customers (major food manufacturers)
Direct internal customers include:
Internal sales, operations, technical and other functions

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a related scientific discipline, such as food science, chemistry, or microbiology
Minimum of 5 years laboratory experience
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
Specific skills that are required for this job are:
Food industry experience
Packaged product experience
Sanitation experience with perishable products requiring wet cleaning
Specific skills that are desired for this job are:
Foods manufacturing experience

Position #2 - Foods Manufacturing - Food Quality Manager
(Akron Canton area) 80-95K
This position will manager a department of approximately 11 employees.
? Supports all facets of product quality and food safety regulatory standards
? Develops/implements standard operating procedures, audit systems and recordkeeping systems to facilitate process conformance to requirements
? Ensures that all plant personnel have been trained to follow all provisions of standard operating procedures (SOP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
? Assures the company is within USDA/FDA / State requirements and compliance and to serve as interface with any federal/state agencies.
? Strong problem solving skills
Position # 3 Food Laboratory Quality Manager(Sidney Ohio)
80-90K
