Quality Professional

OEM Manufacturer in based Stamford CT for 25 years is seeking a Quality Professional to join its team.  The company considers it a top priority to elevate its Quality Department.  The objective is to identify areas and implement programs to improve quality.  A primary focus will be to implement and manage Vendor Process Control and implement Vendor Certifications for incoming QA.  Create a culture of continuous improvement and positive change. 

 

This individual will provide the leadership of our Quality System. The incumbent will continuously improve our quality system, be a primary point of contact on issues of quality internally and with our vendors and deploy quality policy throughout the organization.

 

The successful candidate will establish, implement, direct and maintain quality assurance programs and procedures throughout the various stages of manufacturing to assure a finished product with the highest quality possible.

 

In addition, the Quality Professional will work closely with the Engineering and Manufacturing Managers to develop capable process that will reliably deliver consistent quality that meet all customer and applicable industry standards.

10.  Good understanding of business principles and practices; can understand impact of quality function to overall business results.

 

 

Requirements: Associate degree, minimum 5-7 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferences: ISO experience, Mil-Spec experience, Engineering BS Degree
