Photronics, Inc., a global leader in high technology manufacturing, seeks a Quality Specialist.? This position will be located in one of our North American sites.? We are looking for a high caliber individual to work from our Brookfield, CT or Allen, TX site.? This is a corporate role responsible for all Corporate Metrology and Statistical process control activities.? The main aspects of the role include: analyzing, planning and implementing Statistical process and Metrology improvements; driving global Statistical improvement programs in each manufacturing facility through liaison and participative interaction; evaluating and improving existing processes through best known methods (BKM); organizing, leading and facilitating cross-functional projects and resources across the corporation; developing key performance indicators in order to measure improvement in SPC and Metrology; providing consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality; delivering presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control courses; ambassador for measurement, accountability and a disciplined approach to process improvement throughout the company; performs cost and benefit analyses; develops process improvement policies and infrastructure.

Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 2 years related experience in SPC and/or Metrology.? Bachelor?s degree in a technical discipline is desired; 2 year technical certification required.? Must have strong communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.? Must be organized and able to work on own initiative.? Must be proficient in MS Office and relevant software packages.
