Quality Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician for a South Dayton area client. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 3 years of hands-on CMM inspection experience, preferably in the automotive industry. The primary responsibility will be to perform in process and receiving inspection. Candidates must also be able to use micrometers, calipers and height gages to inspect parts, read blue prints, do open set ups with inspection type materials and be capable of learning to perform some light programming and editing functions. This is a 3rd shift position.

 

You must have experience in the following:
1. CMM operation and or programming
2. GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
3. In-process and receiving inspection
4. Knowledge of PPAP (production part approval process)
5. Knowledge of gage repair or gage R&R
5. Knowledge of TS16949
6. SPC (statistical process control)
