Owens Corning designs, manufactures, merchandises and sells fiberglass asphalt shingles for residential, single-family, steep slope applications in both new construction and remodeling markets. Our Roofing and Asphalt Innovation laboratory plays a role in the development of new products and processes for residential roof coverings and components for the $4.1B roofing construction market.

The R&D Leader of the Residential Roofing Business is accountable for leading the Residential Roofing Innovation organization, reporting to the Director, Innovation for Roofing and Asphalt. The leader will play an integral role on the Residential Roofing and R&A Innovation NLT?s. Key accountabilities include leadership in the development and translation of Residential Roofing business strategies into a portfolio of powerful growth and step-change productivity projects. The successful candidate will be a strong leader of people. Our team is the heart of our success. Leading to sustain and continue to grow engagement is critical. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated success in the commercialization of new products (preferably in the retail segment). Building a portfolio of opportunities which differentiate our brand and add value to the customer and then executing through the Solution Development Process will require the candidate to build strong partnerships with our marketing, sales and manufacturing teams.

In addition to product development accountability, there is a broad responsibility for process development and productivity.
