RELIABILITY ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES : You will be responsible for managing the reliability mechanic.
You must ensure the efficient operation of plant production from the reliability of
efficiency & economics.
You will interface with plant personnel, engineers, maintenance personnel and supervisors to
effectively develop & implement cost-effective programs.
Will provide technical assistance to reduce/eliminate issues associated with equipment reliability, performance, quality & safety.
Will carry out procedures based on site & corporate engineering standards in the highest professional basis.
Must have good organizational & management skills running the Reliability Department.

 

 REQUIREMENTS:
BS and/or MS Engineering Degree.
Minimum of 5-years of reliability engineering in a manufacturing environment.
Solid experience in managing and leading reliability mechanics.
Experience in leading outside contractors overseeing the reliability aspects in major capital projects.
Need experience interfacing with other operating departments to include plant engineering,
maintenance, quality assurance, and production supervisors.


This person will be the onsite Reliability Engineer reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager at a 24/7/365 modern food processing facility with 450 co-workers.  You will have 4 to 5 mechanics reporting to you.
