Raw Material Process Technician

Scope of Position :
A Process Technician within the Diesel Engineering group with a focus on Raw Materials. The role is to support engineers through all areas of processing and raw materials within Diesel from everyday operations to experimentation.
Project activities include:
? Experimentations throughout the entire Diesel Process
? Qualification Reviews
? Shrinkage and Physical Property System

Day to Day Responsibilities:
? Support and monitoring experiments through all areas of the facility
? Support and help maintain current systems
? Collecting and organizing data
? Support projects within the Engineering group

Travel Requirements:
Limited

Hours of Work/Work Schedule/flex-time:
40 Hrs/Wk, typically 8-5, off-hours and Call In/ coverage as necessaryREQUIREMENTS

Required Skills
1. Process Engineering skills and experience
2. Technically curious, self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
3. Computer skills?knowledge of Microsoft Office
4. Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.

Desired Skills:
1. Knowledge of ceramic businesses and products.
2. Statistical skills and experience
3. Strong technical and rigorous problem solving ability.

Soft Skills:
1. Reliable, self-motivated and results oriented individual with attention to detail.
2. Flexibility?ability to adapt to changes and switch priorities as needed
3. Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concerns, issues and plans.

Education and Experience:
? AAS degree
? Prior manufacturing experience (2-4yrs)
