Raytheon Six Sigma (R6S) is Raytheon?s business strategy for building a corporate culture around customer focus, productivity improvement and growth. The essential duties of the Master Expert position include:


- Directing the deployment of R6s throughout the Company and leading Company planning to integrate Raytheon strategy into the overall operations of the Company.
- Interfacing and partnering with Raytheon Learning to design and develop courses in support of all aspects of R6s competencies, i.e., Expert, Master Expert, Specialist, etc.
- Designing and implementing R6s concepts and methodologies into customers and suppliers as well as other RTN clients. Developing and implementing strategic plans for customer, suppliers, and other clients
- Strengthening and enhancing the R6s brand through public speaking engagements in conferences, workshops, and client engagements.
- Effectively interfacing with all levels of any organization to accomplish the above activities.


This position requires extensive travel in support of R6s engagements.




Required Skills:

? Must be a Master Expert or Master Blackbelt

? Must have 5 years experience in Six Sigma/Raytheon Six sigma

? Must have strong business acumen

? Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

? Must have the ability to create and inspire high performance teams

? Must possess a high degree of creativity and resourcefulness

? Should have seasoned experience in leading others, collaborating and influencing across boundaries

? Should be recognized as a successful change agent with a bias for action and a very high energy level

? Should have a solid strategic focus and an innovative perspective

? Should be a self-starter and have the ability to work under pressure

? Experience working in a large, matrixed organization




Desired Skills:

? A definite plus to have demonstrated product line and functional organization expertise



? Familiarity with Raytheon Company

? Previous experience working in an engineering company




Required Education: Bachelor?s degree




Desired Education: Master?s degree, MBA or PhD
