Receiving Supervisor

HVAC Distribution/Manufacturing Company in Fontana is seeking an individual responsible for Receiving Supervisor.  Basic knowledge of the HVAC industry is preferred but not required.  Training is provided.

 

Required Skills/Certifications:

The individual must be certified to operate a Stand up & Sit down Forklift, be able to lift 60 lbs. and Inventory Control. Preferred Candidate must also possess skills such as organization, deadline-oriented, dependability, persistence, time management, independence, documentation skills, customer service, and reporting skills.  Previous experience in supervision of multiple employees.

 

Directs and coordinates multiple shift Receiving Department by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

 

?  Receives items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers.

?  Verifies items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies.

?  Documents items received by recording identifying information.Transfers orders received by routing or delivering items to requesting department.

 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

 Assists Purchasing and vendors by answering questions and responding to requests.

 Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
