- willingness to travel Additional Requirements: Seeking resources with an in-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations and solid understanding of equipment design, efficiencies and capacities, as well as, the ability to articulate the supply chain business strategies.  Experience operating and working within the SAP ERP system is required. You should have a demonstrated understanding of supply planning concepts including flexible planning, long term planning, coverage profiles, and quota arrangements.  An APICS certification is a plus.  This position requires excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, project management, computer and analytical skills to be effective.  Strong customer focus, both internal and external, is also required.  Must be able to function within a team environment and actively participate as a team player in the spirit of cooperation.  Must be willing and able to operate within virtual project teams and cross-functional improvement groups as necessary.  Must be able to ?think outside the box? and offer innovative solutions and ideas.

 Description:  As a Regional Supply Planner for our client you will be accountable for ensuring that there is a balance of sales plan requirements between factories to optimize production cost and asset utilization by providing a rough-cut capacity check at an aggregate regional level.  While the supply plan is prepared monthly, a significant portion of the Supply Planner?s role is to ensure compliance to the supply plan, and when not possible, investigate other options to meet demand.  You will be involved with Data Cleanup in the supply chains manufacturing operations with respect to logistics / inventories / capacity utilization / schedules for a Global Consumer Packaged Goods Manufacturer's latest product line.  Successful candidates will have either the experience and/or degrees in Supply Chain Management, logistics, Business or Finance plus 1-3 years of production planning experience.  Must have experience with the SAP ERP system.  Seeking only professional, team spirited, strong communicators.  HTS - Hi-Tech Solutions, Inc. is the largest, longest standing privately held information technology consulting company serving the Chicagoland area.  Our clients include 35 of the best known companies in the Midwest and we are celebrating over 15 years of excellence.  To join our team - write/email or call 630-575-3900.
