SAFETY MANAGER - LIQUID FILLING PLANT

We are searching for a talented, self-motivated, energetic Safety Manager to lead the efforts in establishing and enforcing facility safety policies and practices in our SoCal facility. Your challenges will include ensuring proper use and protocol for the annual hazardous assessment program, action planning, and plant's fire prevention program.  This is a fast paced, multi-task environment where you will be expected to develop and execute safety-prevention and compliance plans,  develop and manage employee safety incentive programs and achieve targets for decreasing accident frequency and severity.  Particular strengths in OSHA compliance and implementing OSHA programs, training, reporting. and procedures for PPE and safeguards would provide a distinct advantage to candidacy.  Must be willing to lead Safety Teams and Committees as well as assist in accident investigations and safety training plant wide. This is a part time position offering a flexible schedule and competitive compensation as well as growth opportunity!
 
Ideal Candidate Qualifications Degree in Safety or Risk Management preferred (consideration will be given to equivalent combination of education and experience) At least 4 years experience in accident prevention, Risk management, transportation safety programs or corporate safety programsPrevious Workers Compensation claims administration experience preferred but not requiredRegulatory and Audit experience is a plusAbove average communicator with a sense of urgency who effective leads safety initiatives with all levels of plant personnel ?
