SENIOR REPRESENTATIVE QUALITY IN MOROCCO

This positions is a Quality Sr Rep/Spec/Sr. Spec. Position acting as the quality manager for the Morocco site.
Designs, develops and implements DS/GS and overhaul and repair processes for M48/M60A1 tank and M113 FOV engines, transmissions and power train components and assemblies for the Moroccan 3rd ERRM. Emphasis is in the development of associated quality control and assurance processes for the 6V53 engine overhaul.

Develops lesson plans and trains Moroccan students in DS/GS and depot level inspection and repair/overhaul procedures, the operation of designated tooling and plant equipment in support of the program of instruction and other operational requirements. Trains Moroccan cadre in quality assurance processes and overhaul inspection procedures.

Assists the customer in the development of the 3rd ERRM Quality Plan and calibration recall system. Provides advice and assistance to the Depot Operations Supervisor and Moroccan customer in quality assurance, technical operations, process, calibration requirements, material requirements, and other technical issues as required.

Activates quality control lab, trains and assists customer in non-destructive testing procedures and use of quality inspection gauging equipment.

Assists the customer in the analysis, design, development, and feedback of training designated tasks. Conducts task analysis to identify all tasks required to implement quality assurance, testing and quality control procedures and to conduct equipment overhaul.

Identifies material requirements in support of overhaul to include mandatory replacement and unprogrammed parts, expendable and consumable items. Assists the customer in the planning for, ordering, stocking and retrieval of these items.

Reviews Technical Manuals and DMWR?S and establishes inspection standards for those inspection characteristics requiring judgment decisions.

Identifies appropriate Test Measurement and Diagnostic Tools and Equipment (TMDE) to perform required inspections identified by TM and DMWR Overhaul Inspection Procedures (OIP?s).

 

Ten years experience in of equipment inspection, quality maintenance, and quality maintenance management of tracked vehicles, assemblies, components, and related equipment.

5 years previous experience with ISO 9000 and 9000-2000 and it's implementation into a manufacturing facility.

Prefer five years experience in overhaul procedures in a DMWR environment. Must be able to use standard measuring TMDE. Prefer Non destructive testing (NDT) inspection experience in dye penetrant and magnetic particle inspection procedures including demagnetizing techniques.

Five years experience in the analysis of training requirements, design, and development of training materials, and implementation of training at the DS/GS level. Prefer five years at the overhaul level.

Computer literate in the use of word processing, database, and spreadsheet software. Familiar with calibration recall systems. Prefer experience in production control and inventory control programs, preferably MRP II.

Must be able to live and work on an overseas assignment for a minimum of 2 years.
Two years experience supporting foreign customers in a FMS case environment.
