Seeking Service Center Operations Supervisor for our Los Angeles CA facility. Oversee staff of 8-10 employees. Manage operating activities of a metals service center which involves the receipt, storage and processing of quality assurance of finished merchandise for shipment. Plan and develop recommendations on production matters, including repair and maintenance of plant equipment, personnel assignments and safety programs. Plan, organize and schedule workers for optimum use of facility. Communicate with inside sales and merchandising to meet customer requirements, sales commitments, stock application and inventory requirements. Self starter with good people skills. PC knowledge/skills and the ability to work independently is required. This position will be measured on production and order accuracy, timeliness, and reporting, inventory accuracy and reporting, and positive customer feedback and successful internal and external customer complaint resolution.

Experience - External:
-High School Graduate with 2 years trade school experience
-3 years supervisory experience
-Experience working with a union workforce
-Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs
-Ability to motivate employees to meet demanding productivity goals.
Warehouse and SAP experience preferred.
