SHE COORDINATOR

 

Headquartered in Cleveland, OH, ICI Paints? North American operations produce decorative coatings brands such as Glidden, Dulux, Ralph Lauren, Devoe, Fuller-O?Brien, Sinclair, C-I-L paint and Liquid Nails caulks and adhesives.  We are seeking a proven self-starter with at least 3 years of safety and environmental experience for our Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Coordinator position at our Commerc, CA,  facility.

 

This position will be responsible for assisting line management with implementation of SHE processes in their areas and coordinate activities to ensure compliance with company SHE and applicable regulatory requirements. Areas of specific responsibilities include OSHA written program implementation (i.e., LOTO, Confined Space, Emergency Response, PSM, Hearing Conservation, and Medical Surveillance), solid and hazardous waste management, SHE related training, record keeping, environmental reporting (SARA, NDPES, Air & RCRA) and permitting.

 

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor?s Degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering or related discipline; 3-5 years relevant Safety, Health, and Environmental experience, and be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. This individual must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and work effectively across all levels of the organization. Previous experience with Process Safety Management is preferred.
