SHIPPING  SUPERVISOR

 

Andin International, Inc. is a privately held U.S.  jewelry manufacturer headquartered in New York with operations in China, Dominican Republic, Hong Kong, India, Israel and Thailand.  We manufacture fine jewelry and distribute it to department stores chains.  We also own and operate Jewelry.com, the most frequented jewelry site on the Internet.

 

 We actively seek a supervisor to oversee all Shipping functions of one of our largest accounts.

 

Reporting to the Manager of Distribution, the Shipping Supervisor will assume responsibility for:

 Managing daily operations of a large volume account, effectively and efficientlyAll packing, shipping and receiving functions of the account (s).Supervising staff of employees

 

Ideal candidate must possess the following requirements:

 Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a seasonal or high volume distribution facilityPrior experience dealing with various courier servicesAbility to focus on supplying customers with consistent On -Time DeliveryDemonstrated ability to interact and successfully communicate with Sales Force and Management as well as staffExcellent Computer Skills (AS 400 preferred) Excellent Verbal and Written Skills necessary to communicate with all levels of staff.Previous experience working with consumer products and major retailers a plusSeasonality of business requires Overtime and Saturday coverage
