SMT Machine Operators (Surface Mount Technology)

Responsibilities include SMT (pick and place) machine set-up, operation, programming and inspection. The operator would also use the reflow oven and stencil printers. Responsible for trouble shoot and solve problems which arise with the SMT process and equipment.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
To set up, program and maintain the pock and place machines, stencil machines and profile the reflow oven. Trouble shoot and solve problems which arise with the surface mount technology (SMT) process and equipment.

MUST:
Have the ability to set up SMT equipment for previously programmed models. Load and operate SMT equipment: pick and place machine, stencil machine and reflow oven. The ability to inspect and rework SMT assemblies for workmanship under microscope. Must be able to understand, support and practice the Company's Quality Assurance policy as required by ISO 9001.
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA or EQUIVALENT IS REQUIRED
