About the Opportunity

Due to unprecedented growth, there is an opening at Roanoke Operations for a Safety/Environmental Coordinator. Take charge of safety for the plant, develop and facilitate safety and health training, create proactive programs and solutions to improve safety and safety awareness. Successful associates will have a commitment to process improvement. Take charge of environmental policies and procedures, responsibility for disposal of waste.

Requirements:

* Associates Degree required.
* Experience implementing policies and procedures in a manufacturing environment is also required, with safety background preferred.

* Only local candidates (50-mile radius) will be considered.

Problem-solving, a sense of urgency, creativity and organization are critical to success. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality or process capacity could also provide a good background.
