Safety/Industrial Hygiene Representative

This mid level position is for a self motivated college graduate with a degree in Industrial Hygiene or Safety Engineering.

Job responsibilities will vary by project but will include the following:

- Interact with in-house and subcontracted personnel
- Perform environmental and construction related work site Task Hazard Analysis
- Prepare written Health and Safety Plans
- Review subcontractor Health and Safety Plans/Data
- Perform Site Safety Audits
- Conduct accident/OSHA recordable incident investigations
- Perform or assist, as necessary, with Cal/OSHA and/or Federal OSHA compliance audits (primarily commercial manufacturing or industrial sites)
- Assist with preparation of Human Health Risk Assessments
- Perform regulatory QA/QC review of technical documents
- Manage industrial hygiene related projects
- Provide corporate health and safety program support

Requirements:

Education Requirements: BS in Industrial Hygiene or Safety Engineering. CSP certification is preferred or an individual willing to prepare for and obtain CSP certification with company support.

Skills & Experience Required: Successful candidate must possess a broad based understanding of environmental and construction related safety issues, demonstrate knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations (i.e. 29 CFR 1910.120 and 1200), have a valid drivers license, pass standard DOD or similar background/security clearance and be available to travel as necessary.
