Position Summary:
The primary functions of this position are to lead the plant safety programs and initiatives, serve as the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Safety Pillar Owner, and to serve as the WCM Implementation coordinator to track and manage activities. Responsibilities will change within this role.An individual assigned to this role is expected to perform duties according to safety program and WCM objectives with little direction. The individual must be able to take internal customer needs and concepts and be able to turn them into a usable resource and tool.
Coordinate logistics and drive agenda for all plant safety meetings.Generate and own All Plant Meeting decks, meeting agendas, safety performance postings, and weekly performance updates and safety recognition events.Coordinate and track all plant safety related activities and training including environmental and emergency response.Learn, teach and apply WCM related activities and concepts.Train AM teams and coordinate AM activities across plant.Track WCM progress based on established metrics.Network with Company Safety leaders and other WCM representatives and other plant representatives.Reapply and customize systems from other plants and functions to fit Fairfield needs.
Involvement in some training activities as they relate to safety and WCM.


Required Qualifications:
Desire to have plant safety experience
Desire to have TPM or WCM exposure or experience
Demonstrated leadership skills
Must have ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to use software tools
Strong communication both written and verbal, including presentation skills
Strong planning and organizing skills
High passion and value for safety, demonstrated involvement with plant safety
Must have strong teamwork and collaboration skills


Monday ? Friday
7:30am ? 4:00pm (may change based on business needs)
Due to the training and investment required to ensure this role is successful, Associate must be willing to stay in this role for at least 18 months.
