Sales Engineer - Architecture/Sales/Product Development 75-85 K/yr

Client in New York is seeking a Business Unit Manager. This position will include both business development as well as sales responsibilities. Position will require the candidate to coordinate department activity for the identification, evaluation, development and marketing of new and existing products. The candidate will develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Group of products and will use this knowledge to assist sales representative, engineers and consultants with any types of technical applications inquiries. The business development portion of this position requires the candidate to maintain an up to date knowledge of trends and developments in new products and processes in the industry and maintain a good relationship with research and product development group. The Sales portion of this position will require the candidate to coordinate marketing and sales of the department's products and technologies to national ( and occasionally) internal customer in all markets. Estimating manufacturing time and material costs for new proposals and new projects is also required. This position requires a BSME with at least 5 years of experience. The experience is preferred to be a mix of architectural and sales experience.
