MetalTek International is a $100+ million successful, privately held, multi-plant foundry operation specializing in high performance and super alloys.  Key markets we serve include land- and flight-based turbines, naval defense, petrochemical, power transfer, mining and construction.  We count some of the world?s most successful companies as our customers, including Rolls Royce, Electric Boat, General Electric, Westinghouse, and Komatsu.  We have four locations including a state of the art sand foundry in Pevely, MO (St. Louis area) where we cast $30 - $40 million in parts each year. 

 

Our Pevely facility is seeking a Sales Manager

Position responsibilities include:

?  Develops, recommends and executes sales objectives and strategies for the business.

?  Develops and evaluates annual sales and expense plan for the sales group.

?  Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, pricing and market penetration.

?  Supervises subordinate sales staff activity and maximizes use of manpower.

?  Develops national objectives for field sales activity.

?  Develops contract strategy.

?  Acts as the primary focal point for customer satisfaction.

?  Participates in budget preparation.

?  Periodically visits key markets to insure the accounts are properly managed.

?  Holds appropriate sales meetings.

?  Represents MetalTek International at industry association meetings and trade shows to promote our products.

?  Acts as a liaison between sales and other departments.

?  Prepares periodic sales reports.

?  Approves selection of personnel, organizes trains and develops staff, evaluates performance, and recommends compensation.

 

Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills along with demonstrated problem solving and leadership abilities.  Must have good computer skills along with being detailed oriented/organized.  We are seeking an energetic person with a Bachelors degree in business, marketing, finance, engineering or equivalent experience (strong mathematical/engineering skills).  Must have 5 or more years of applicable experience.  Seeking someone with strong negotiation skills; acute customer focus.  The candidate should be experienced working independently, and as a member of a team, to meet deadlines and improve the department.
