Sanitation Supervisor

SANITATION SUPERVISOR needed for a manufacturer in the Chicago area.  Plan, organize, execute and monitor plant sanitation, painting and housekeeping.  Promote all plant safety, GMP, GSP and food safety policies and procedures.

Requirements include, but are not limited to the following:Associates Degree required. At least 4 years of experience with sanitation in a food manufacturing setting. 2-3 years of supervisory experience. Project management experience. Experience with scheduling, training and inspecting sanitation activities. Experience and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice . Excellent communication skills. Excellent leadership and managerial skills. Self-directed. Computer proficient.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Plan and execute daily, weekly and periodic plant wide cleaning and sanitation activity to ensure compliance. Coordinate, plan and document sanitation activities and schedule workforce Conduct plant wide inspections to ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance for sanitation and housekeeping. Conduct training in areas of GMP s, GSP s and cleaning procedures. Plan and schedule various projects. Communicate effectively and work well with others. Perform additional tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.
