Position Description:

Conducts projects related to the industrial analytical activities.

Applies technical principles and techniques to complete assinged complex experimental activities in Industrial Analytical Development with general supervision.

Recognizes the necessity for independent literature reading and intitiates/performs literature surveys in the areas of responsibility

A degree of originality and / or ingenuity is expected, primarily in the solution of tehcnical problems within the scope of assignments.

Summarizes findings and assumes responsibility in teh preparation of appropriate reports, patents, and publications with guidance from the supervisor.

Coordinate the laboratory instrument calibratiion and qualification scheduling by interaction with lab managers, direct reports, on-site and external contractors.

Create and oversee maintenance of a electronic database and physical inventory for the commercial reference standard program and establish monographs for the certification testing.

Create and oversee maintenance of an electronic database and physical inventory system for the incoming receipt of laboratory samples.

Serves as the system administrator for the data acquisition system for Industrial Analytical Development. Monitors and assesses current compliance activities and coordinates improvements/ amendments according to GMP. A degere of originality and / or ingenuity is expected primarily in the solution of technical problems withi the scope of responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with 6 years experience or Master's degree with 4 years related experience. Developed professional maturity.
