Senior Field Applications Engineer - West Coast:

 

This exciting and challenging position is responsible for driving designs of our products into customer's applications with a heavy focus on Telecommunications and Computer design.Product lines include Power MOSFET's, Power IC's, JFET's, Analog Switches and Multiplexers.Responsibilities include application and technical sales support for customers and sales representative, quotations, technical review and maintenance of product documents, engineering support.This position will work closely with our business development and R&D groups to ensure our products meet the developing needs of our customers.  The position could be based in Portland, Seattle, or Silicon Valley areas with 50% expected travel for territory from Rocky Mountains to West Coast.   

 

Other Responsibilities:

 

?  Assisting customer's engineers in product selection, application, and troubleshooting.

?  Maintain application sizing and system performance programs

?  Study and evaluate competition?s products

?  Propose specific new products for development

?  Provide representatives territory development, business plan, and forecast

 

Qualifications:

 

Candidates should have minimum of 5 years experience in power design.

Telecommunications or Computer power supply design a plus. 

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
