Senior Field Technical Engineer

Responsibilities:

?Serves as the liaison between Engineering and Customer ServiceReviews all new product initiatives for Customer Services functionality (e.g. mobile, future software releases)Works with Contractors to develop Service Manuals for new productsAnalyzes error and debug logs to both resolve existing and potential EDS issuesReviews work orders and submits Corrective Action Requests for Engineering actionIdentifies areas of improvement and submits PFCRs for evaluationDrives improvements to diagnostic tools Serves as the technical expert when Field Engineers are unable to diagnosis a problemOversees all Latin American EDS installed unitsBack-up support for telephone and second level support as neededPerforms Customer Acceptance Testing for future software and hardware modificationsProvides onsite training assistance for third party maintenanceProvides input and updates to service and training manuals as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

?

????????? Excellent ability to communicate and interface professionally and effectively with customers and third-party vendors

????????? Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision ?

????????? Ability to quickly and accurately diagnosis service problems

????????? Knowledge of complex mechanical systems, including digital circuitry

????????? Previous experience with computed tomography (CT) and x-ray equipment

????????? Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Windows 95, MS Office

????????? Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 75 pounds

????????? Must be available to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays

????????? Must be available to travel extensively on short notice; up to 50% travel

????????? Minimum 5 years of previous experience serving as a Field Service Technician or Engineer
