Senior Manufacturing Manager- Sauer-Danfoss

The Valves Division is part of the global Sauer-Danfoss organization and develops, manufactures, and provides total valve solutions to Sauer-Danfoss customers worldwide.  Our business is under constant growth and we strive to be the preferred suppier for hydraulic products.  The Division has 6 operations activites located in North and South America and Europe.

 

Our production facility in Easley, South Carolina, is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Manager that will be responsible for the production area including Supply Chain.  In the coming years, we expect continuous growth and changes to take place.  The primary focus of the position is in South Carolina. Nevertheless, the position needs a person that can function in an international environment.  The position holder will deal with a high extent of confidential business information, has a high degree of liberty in fulfilling the job, he/she will need to act independently.

 

 

Key responsibilities:Daily leadership of a workforce of approximately 300 (Including 4 team leaders) Our production works in three shifts.Leadership and coaching for team leaders.Describe goals, success criteria and action programs for own area of responsibility out of the overall goals and strategies for the business.Budgeting and planning of investments in connection with the production program and project activities.

 

Qualifications:BS degree in Engineering or business. MBA preferred.  Understanding of economics and business issues.5+ years of leadership experience, coaching skillsExperience in a manufacturing environment- Machining PreferredLean manufacturing experience a plus.Flexible, good communication skills
