A small, progressive company in Pasadena, CA is actively interviewing for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a significant mechanical design background, that has a passion for working in the aerospace industry. The right person will have a BSME or equivalent with 5 to 15 years of mechanical design experience in aerospace structures and mechanisms. Qualities preferred are experiences with a wide range of materials including composites and sandwich structures, and software packages such as SoldWorks, Nastran Matlab and others listed below. Posses a working knowledge of ANSI Y 14.5 and GD & T drawing practices, and be able to fill the role of Project Engineer. Responsibilities include being a design team member, a manager of schedules and of project cost estimates, and review designs. This position will require a person of significant leadership qualities.
