Senior Planner

Position Title:  Senior Planner

Position Summary:

The Senior Planner will plan and manage inventory targets for raw materials, work in process, and finished goods to meet customer delivery requirements.

Position Key Responsibilities:Plan and schedule daily production based upon parts coverage, labor and equipment capacity and product mix Respond to requests for shipment date and expedites and follow through to assure customer commitments are met Maintain planning factors in SAP Maintain production order dates in SAP Provide assembly managers with a forward looking view of demand in the near to mid-term to allow for appropriate resource and capacity planning Identify material shortages and advise appropriate personnel Identify and correct inventory discrepancies Establish ECO effective dates and implement in the production process Measure, analyze, and drive improvements in work center on time delivery Assess sales order demand daily and report anticipated issues to meet commitment dates Collaborate with Engineering to implement new products into production

Key Performance Metrics:

On time to customer commit date

Education and Experience:Required: Bachelor?s Degree and 7+ years material planning experience. Strong computer skills and analytical skills are required.Preferred: SAP experience a plus
