Senior Product Line Manager

Our client, a major manufacturer of aerospace products has a unique opportunity for a Product Line Manager.

Located in its modern facility on Long Island, the qualified candidate will be responsible for managing activities of product lines/programs involving departments or cross functional teams and monitoring the project from initiation through delivery.  Specific responsibilities include reviewing project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding, procedures for accomplishing project and allotment of available resources.  Additional responsibilities include reporting findings to management, coordinating activities of team to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget and providing technical advice.

 

Requirements:  BS degree in Engineering or related field. 7 plus years product line/program management experience in a technical environment.  Must be able to motivate, manage and lead teams from initial customer contact to project completion.

Must have strong problem solving skills, communication and presentation skills and flexible to travel on a regular basis.
