Senior Sales Account Manager

Responsible for Hardware/Software upgrade sales and the development and expansion of existing Customer accounts. Primary responsibility is to review upgrade paths for fielded systems and develop kits using current ECO processes and sales strategies that promote additional business by adding to the Customers utility of the product. Responsible for product definition, development and pricing of upgrade kits. Typically provides the Sales Team with the upgrade products and collateral materials that quantify ROI for purchase justification. Typically assists the Sales Team to close business for critical accounts or larger territories. Calls on prospective customers, provides technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate to upgrade prices. Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales-related matters; understanding of customer?s business and product requirements is necessary. Fully knowledgeable about company products. Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota. May provide technical guidance to other levels of sales representatives. Seven years of sales and product management experience.

Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept/ peer review).

Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.

Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.

Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience. Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with a thorough working knowledge of company products, company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures and excellent communication skills.
