Senior Sourcing Agent
Procure all required commodities and services by developing relationships with suppliers who maintain high cost productivity, quality, delivery and integrity standards. Must be knowledgeable of and perform to established sourcing policies and procedures and ensure all contracts are established in compliance with all governing regulations. Perform all required functions from initiation of intent to purchase, to satisfactory delivery of material. Assure that material will be delivered on schedule, at negotiated costs, and meeting required quality standards. Initiate necessary action to correct schedule slippage, cost overruns, deficient quality, or manufacturing problems at suppliers. Lead and/or participate in procurement team initiatives as they relate to quality, supplier base management, cost, and systems improvements.
Support external customer needs by managing the entire order to remittance cycle for assigned commodities and components. Develop and execute inventory plans, order policies, material distribution and control programs, and shop material flow plans.
Assure material availability. Administer the expediting process from program direction to direct supplier contact. Inform customers of material input commitments and recovery plans. Work issues through engineering, quality, product planning, and program management as necessary to support business needs. Identify potential supplier performance issues and recommend corrective action. Implement Program Instructions, Engineering Instructions, Change Notices, Work Authorizations, etc., including spot procurements, as necessary to support customer needs. Assist in program scheduling of priorities through receiving and inspection. Coordinate and prioritize material requests for purchase order placement.

Required Education: B.S. degree or equivalent experience
Required Experience: 4 years experience in a relevant discipline for level 6
Required Skills: Computer proficiency, thorough product and operations knowledge, effective problem solving abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, good negotiation skills, and project leadership skills.
