Senior Technician - Instrumentation

Setup, operate and maintain various test data recording and measurement equipment including PC-based data acquisition systems, tape recorders, and spectrum analyzers. Install instrumentation sensors on nacelle components and subassemblies for the measurement of pressure, force, vibration, temperature, flow and strain. Fabricate wire harnesses and install electrical connectors. Operate specialized test facilities including acoustics, airflow thrust stand, sonic fatigue.

Knowledge or experience with structural test instrumentation including strain gage-based transducers and associated signal conditioning. Electronics troubleshooting/repair skills are required including the use of DMM's, oscilloscopes, soldering equipment and knowledge of discrete electronics components. Familiarity with computer-based data systems and acquisition software.
