Senior Tool Room Machinist

UMC, Inc., a growing medical component manufacturer located in Monticello, MN has a full-time day shift position for a Senior Tool Room Machinist.

This seasoned candidate must be fluent with fixture design and have the ability to build and visualize fixtures using strong analytical and technical skills in a fast paced environment.

?

Responsibilities require accurate setup and operation of manual and CNC machines per print or sketch, an understanding of tools required to check product to guarantee tool quality, and machining familiarity to support proper tooling for the production department.

A two year certificate in machine trades, along with a minimum of 10 years experience in a machining environment in relation to CNC machine tool processes, tool room capabilities, and work holding design is required.
