We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Service Manager, General Vacuum - Americas in Wilmington, MA.



 

The Service Manager, General Vacuum will:

?Provide the focus and leadership for GV service and spares within the territory

?Grow the service business to support sales through service excellence

?Grow the service and spares business as a stand alone profit centre at greater than 15% CAGR with better than 60% contribution and OP of 20%

 

Primary Responsibilities:

?Directly leads service business growth by ensuring timely execution of field service, hub service centre and call centre management is cohesive and ahead of customer expectation

?Supports sales and installation of new BOCE equipment sold locally (or globally through USA based OEM?s) and throughout the lifetime process.

?Deploys strategies as required to compete against 3rd party OEM?s and Service houses to ensure sustainable growth, including 3rd developing 3rd party repairs capability, upgrades, refurbished product sales and product buybacks and recycling.

?Develops executable and profitable service contracts with the sales organization. Has primary responsibility and ownership for contracts.

?Deploys safe systems of work as guided by corporate and local BOCE policy. Works with US safety and training leadership within the wider US service business.

?Ensures efficient use of materials in line with Best Operating Practice as guided by US operations and Global materials group.

?Supports warranty review and resolution. Provides feedback to Product Division technical groups through establish feedback channels.

?Ensures new product launches are supported and capability is in place for both field and Hub ahead or requirement.

?Directly supports Authorized service centers and Contract administration, selection and approval.

?Develops strategies with Global and regional Product Management for new products and ensures costing, pricing and policy can be enacted and communicated clearly.

?Ensures growth in bottom line profitability better that 8% growth pa.
